About Me

My name is louisa, lou, loubee, lube, loubeedoo, loulou le bleu moo moo poo too...thanks kate...I'm 24, from Birmingham, I kinda live with my boyfriend and our 15 month old staffy puppy (fletch)...I'm messed up and full of rage, confident, and outgoing, but shy and a loner at the same time. I'm weird. And I'm proud of it. I waffle too much and I use weird punctuation far too frequently. You don't have to be mental to understand me, but it helps...
more?

Thanks

I'm back! :o)

...written on 26.07.2006, @ 4:42 p.m.

Helloo! Im back and Im here and Im typing and WOWhello. Im a bt hyper. Ive been feeling pretty down and I just typed a whole load about it, realised I just needed to cheer up and so here I am. Cheered. *is cheery*.

Canada has given me so much to think aboutit was absolutely amazing. Everyone is so friendly, the countyside and city are both beautiful, theres so much to doyes, I want to emmigrate. I want to visit there in winter FIRST but I do want to live there. Just think, sunbathing and hot weather in the summer, and snow boarding and log fires in the winter. I like my simplistic view on life! Ha ha.

We didnt really do a lot, just mainly shopping and more shoppingand the trip to Niagara (which Ive been misspelling as Niagra because I really thought it was spelt like Viagra)and more shoppingand visiting the beach andshopping :o) oh, and an amazing camping trip to Algonquin park. I wasnt too keen on sleeping on the floor, or all the spiders who swarmed over our tent in the middle of the night, but it was so beautiful and peaceful that I could forget those things. We just chilled out and did nothing for a few daysI got through almost all of the book I took with me (which I found very difficult and confusing to read at firstbut it was brilliant as I got into it and I LOVED itI kiss Aldous Huxley. Mwa.) and I also did a lot of talking with Jane (my Moms friend who we stayed with) about where my life is going and what I want to do etc etc. I hate talks like that but it was okay and actually helped me get a few things in perspective. Yes, an MA will be hard, and expensive, and most likely not get me anywherebut right now I feel like Im not going anywhere and doing something like this is going to motivate me. I really want to do it and thats the reason I should go for it. So, as long as I get in (and Im still hoping hoping hoping that my crappy support essay will be looked at with sympathetic eyes) then Im going to go for it and other such cliches, and actually get a good MA (unlike my semi-good BA) and be pleased with myself for once. No slacking. Once again, ha ha. And we had a campfire, and toasted marshmallows. It was good :o)

But yesaside from camping, marshmallows and heartfelt talksthe highlight of my holiday (and maybe Moms and Stephs too) was Niagara. It was stunning. Words just fail me all over the place when I try and talk about it. The whole trip was wonderfulwe started off in a tiny tour bus from Toronto (t t thee hee heeeeeee) at 9am - 24 people from england, germany, south africa, america, canada and there was Al our tour guide. He was ace! When he found out Auntie Jane was canadian he said A native canadian! Hows it going Eh?oh how we laughed :o)

First of all we drove up to the whirlpool lookout point and dropped everyone off who wasnt going on the helicopters, and then we all we on to the helicopter takeoff point. I dont really like flying so I was a bit worriedjust a bitespecially when I noticed that they take off, pirouette for the camera and then zoom off out of sight, returning later and landing in the same, zoom-to-earth style. I think I may have had a little panicbutwe climbed aboard, strapped in, took offand I loved it! It was so smoooooooth and lovely, and I wasnt even scared of the height once I had my camera fixed to my eye (and I took some damn fine pictures if I dont mind saying). I could have flown around taking pictures all day :o) its totally unrealI still cant believe that Ive seen Niagara with my own eyes, let alone flown over it in a fucking helicopter! So, after our helicopter ride (wooooo!) we took the bus to Table Rock, where we could stand next to the top of the falls and watch them thunder away just feet from ourfeet! Then we went for lunch in the penthouse resturant of a hotel (amazing food, amazing viewjustamazing!!! I have NO WORDS) and scoffed ourselves silly before going for a boat ride on the maid in the mist. This HUGE boat (which takes about 150 people Im suremaybe more) takes you right into the horseshoe where you end up in a rainstorm of mist. Al challenged us to go on the top deck and not wear the raincoats (Alton Towers style) provided. So we decided to take him up on it and it was just (sighs and reaches for the only word available) amazing. It was a boiling hot day and the mist was literally like a cool shower so I shrieked and jumped around a bit, laughing like an idiot - but Mom and Steph did a little bit too so it wasnt so bad :o) I had so much funI had to ring Matt as soon as I could to tell him all about it (I think I rang up about 30 worth of calls to him on my mobile while I was therebad me)

Canada is amazinggo there! Seriously, its such a pretty country. I had Dont fence me in running through my head the whle time we were driving around (and Venus every time I shaved my legsDAMN ADVERTS!), especially in the RV :o) how strange my brain is. Occasionally I spotted lonely little shacks in the woods, surrounded by rusty pick-ups and farm machinery. It was very House of a 1000 CorpsesI wanted to get a photo of one but we always drove past too quickly. I missed photos of about a million school buses too *cries*

OkayIm going on lotsso, Im going to go and make a coffee with my new cheap amazing coffee machine (that is so easy to use and clean! Im so happy!) and try and become a published author *rolls around laughing* so that I can get a job in a publishing house (hopes hopes hopes)

Mwa Eh?
